U.S. Navy A-14 Oxygen Masks

This Navy used A-14, manufactured in March of 1945, and with A.A.F. data molded into the facemask, was sent in by Riley Willetts. His close-up photos give us a good view of the Shure Brothers microphone installation and it's "USN" plug markings. Also of interest are the web straps. The left side straps, without leather ends, are olive drab number seven, the typical color for these un-reinforced straps. The right side strap, however, is a less common bright green shade and has khaki stitching. As would be expected for a mask from this stage of production, the male quick disconnect is the improved AN-6002-A.
Thank you Riley.
